Privacy Policy
A short policy, because the site does very little with your data. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel and no advertising on this store — the list below is the whole of it.

Who we are
Flight Deck DIY LLC, 218 N Main St Unit 512, Kaysville, UT 84037-9998, United States. Questions about anything on this page go to info@flightdeckdiy.com.
What we collect
When you order: your name, email address, shipping address and phone number, plus what you bought. The phone number is required because carriers ask for one on international shipments and use it when a delivery goes wrong.
When you subscribe: your email address and the date you gave consent, so we can show when and how you opted in.
When you write to support: whatever you put in the message.
Card numbers: never. Payment details are entered in a field hosted by Stripe and go straight to them. They do not pass through this site and we could not store them if we wanted to.
What we don't do
There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no advertising network and no third-party tracker of any kind on this site. We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone for marketing, ours or otherwise. The only cookie the site sets is a session cookie for staff signing in to the admin area — if you are a customer, browsing this store sets no cookies at all.
Who processes it for us
Running a store means handing some data to the companies that do the actual work. Each of these gets only what its job needs:
Stripe — payments and card processing.
Shippo — shipping labels, tracking, and customs paperwork; your address goes to the carrier you chose.
Resend — sending order, shipping and support email.
Neon — the database that holds orders.
Vercel — hosting, and storage for downloadable files.
BotID — blocking automated abuse of the checkout and forms.
Email we send you
Order confirmations, shipping notices with tracking, and replies to your own support messages are transactional — you get those because you bought something, and they are not marketing.
If you start a checkout and don't finish, we may send one reminder. One, ever, per order — the system records that it sent it specifically so it cannot send a second. Newsletter email only goes to people who asked for it, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, which in the U.S. is several years — those are business records and we are not free to delete them on request. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Support email is kept while it is useful and then deleted.
Your rights
Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete what we are not legally required to keep. If you are in the UK, EU, or a U.S. state with its own privacy law, you have these rights by statute; we extend the same treatment to everyone regardless of where you live, because maintaining two standards would be more work than simply being straight with people.
We will not make you create an account or jump through hoops to exercise any of this. A plain email is enough.
Children
This is flight-simulator hardware sold to adults. The store is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it. We will not quietly broaden what we collect and leave the date alone.
